We Will Not Be Silent - Join Us + Volunteers Needed [ Posted Tuesday Mar 16 2010, 9:18 am by Kerry Wilks ][ Last Updated Saturday Apr 3 2010, 9:14 am ] When: April 5th, 2010, 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm Where: Historic County Courthouse (Wichita) Join us on April 5th to remember the notorious Marriage Amendment passed in Kansas five years ago. We'll have a good old-fashioned rally led by our own Maggie LeBlanc Hahn, followed by a few short speakers, including 2010 LGTB candidates and local clergy. We will gather at The Perk after the rally to enjoy good music and great company. We need a few volunteers to hold flags, banners, work the KEC table, etc. Please, please, please contact Kerry, Bruce, Maggie or Jaron if you can help. If you're available at the last minute then just show up a bit early at the courthouse and ask how you can help! Hope to see everyone there!!! |
